How did you get into modelling?
I began my modeling career in 2006 when I started to realize that I had the right proportions for the model spirit and had charisma, that others noticed. I was already interested in photography and find that the modeling sounded like a fun thing.
Many friends thought I looked like a model, then I did in the end as they said.
Now I am working for Scandinavian models & 1st agency.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
My very first photo shoot went surprisingly well and I was calm and relaxed, which tend to be difficult in the beginning. We took pictures of the countryside in an old abandoned house (badgers) I have a picture from there if you want to see it)

What does modelling mean to you?
I love modeling! It’s making me more stylish and handsome, the attention and show off all these nice clothes.

A model you particularly admire?
Adriana Lima

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
If I had to choose, I would like to be shoot in a beautiful nature perhaps in Italy that is a country I love and I would like to learn more about it Italian.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
My dressing style in everyday life are workout clothes, I love to work out and be at the gym but outside the gym, I wear almost always Heels.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I like Sweden and like it here, but I am also a big fan of Italy and the USA.

What is happiness?
Happiness is to be loved.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
You can find me at the gym on a Friday night, or with my wonderful friends at a dinner.

What’s your next goal?
My future plans are geared more to fitness then I will compete in bikini fitness, but I will also run a lot of fashion that I like best.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Strong, independent, a lioness

How long have you been a model?
Since October.

How did you get into modelling?
I foolishly sent a few pictures of me to a great photographer and asked if he wanted to take pictures of me.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I was really nervous, of course. The photographer welcomed me so warmly and nice and we talked throughout the whole shooting, that’s why I felt quite secure. He gave me tips that I still think of while shooting.

What does modeling mean to you?
It’s a way of escaping my daily life, being someone else. I met so many great people through modeling, I see them as friends now.

A model you particularly admire?
Cara Delevigne! She’s not only gorgeous but such an interesting character.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
Probably in Burleigh or Surfers Paradise, Australia, that’s where I used to live.

What’s your dressing style in everyday life?
That depends on my mood really, in daily life like university I dress really comfortable and cozy.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Right where I’m.

What is happiness?
I think happiness is what you make out of a situation, sometimes it’s just a person, a smile, a song, good food or a text.

Where can we find you on a friday night?
Probably at home, cuddled up in a blanket with a glass of wine and a series on Netflix.

What’s your next goal?
Finishing university

An interview with the beautiful Florida based model, Jeana and this fantastic series captured by the talented Jose Gonzalez (instagram.com/jagzphotos), enjoy!
Know more about Jeana at instagram.com/jeana.d

How would you describe yourself in a few words?
An adventure seeking girl with a sunflower soul.

How long have you been a model?
I’m actually not a model!

How did you get into modelling?
The only photographer I’ve shot with, Jose Gonzalez, found me on Instagram 2 years ago and was so encouraging for me to try modeling that I decided to travel outside my comfort zone and give it a shot!

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I had a cold and drove over 2 hours to do a bikini shoot at the beach in December. I was nervous and awkward but Jose was so nice and made me feel comfortable. It was a good first experience.

What does modeling mean to you?
Showing off what makes YOU feel good, not what others want to see.

A model you particularly admire?
I don’t really know/follow models but I like what Ashley Graham stands for.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
I love nature and architecture so I would like to shoot in Italy or Greece.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
A mixture of comfy and formfitting. Ranges from girly girl to 90’s mom.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Ciao bella! Italy!

What is happiness?
Sleeping in a freshly-cleaned bed. Laughing so hard it hurts. Finding $5 in my pocket. The smell of fresh bread. Watching the blue sky turn into cotton candy colors. Happiness is the little things in life.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
Either drinking beers at a lakeside bar, dancing to live music or cuddled in bed with snacks, watching Netflix.

What’s your next goal?
Earn my Bachelors degree in May!

How would you describe yourself in a few words?
I will never learn how to speak about myself. Maybe shy and passionate.

How long have you been a model?
I’ve had a few experiences in the past, but in this year things got professional.

How did you get into modelling?
As a shy girl, I could only become a model after I become an actress. So now if I do a shooting where I’m a mom or a hot woman, I can play the role. I believe I can be whatever the hell I want.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I did a session with Peter Coulson, we started inside a small apartment and then walking by the streets in São Paulo.

What does modelling mean to you?
It’s a job, like so many others. But i feel blessed that I can have fun while I’m working.

A model you particularly admire?
Gisele.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
Hm, tough one… Maybe in a rooftop in Japan, a high mountain, in a desert with a long designer dress… So many dream shootings.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
Kinda ‘soft’ rock and roll

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I have to say London.

What is happiness?
Be true to yourself.
Do things that you really believe in and try everyday to become the person you wish to be.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
At some friend’s house, at the movies, reading at home… but my favorite place would definitely be: on the road…

What’s your next goal?
Get a big film role.
I really want to focus on acting auditions.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?
All or nothing

How long have you been a model?
5 years now

How did you get into modelling?
I was approached by a photographer who had some very artistic ideas and i decided to give it a shot due to my love of his vision.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I convinced my photographer to let me pick the location and for me location is everything. I decided I wanted to realllllly create a mood with our pictures so I picked the sketchiest motel in Chicago which is now closed down due to its lack of regulations. Cockroaches scattered across the antique hallways as we passed open room doors with drug addicts shooting up. I was in love! We got to our room, locked the door, took a breath and then carefully placed our bags down. It was the most emotional photoshoot I’ve ever had and the pictures proved it. I knew from that moment I wanted to continue making this type of art.

What does modelling mean to you?
Modeling is an art based on the emotions of 2 people. I believe its the only art that truly depends of 2 strangers really connecting on some level in order to produce a beautifully finished piece.

A model you particularly admire?
Call me old fashioned but I’m going to say, Jane Russel. She had the perfect smile, a body that’d knock anyone off their chair, she could sing, dance, act, but most importantly she had this look she’d do that was so entrancing and powerful. The second I saw it I fell in love with her.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
The old Reims-Gueux Circuit in France would be the coolest location ever to do an editorial shoot for me considering I’m a huge vintage racing fan.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
It completely depends on my mood that day. Some days I’ll be in back-seam stockings, a pencil skirt, and a great pair of stilettos and other days it’s an over sized sweater, no makeup, and a great pair of Calvin Klein denim.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I’d be living in a cabin somewhere in the middle of nowhere with a little plane like a Piper PA-18 Super Cub parked right outside.

What is happiness?
Happiness for me is having as many ridiculous adventures I can fit in one lifetime.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
Anywhere and everywhere. I’m always exhausting my options of trying something new and exciting.

What’s your next goal?
My next goal is to set up a beach shoot in Hawaii this winter because nothing sounds better than Island Life when you’re stuck in a very very chilly Chicago.

How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Adventurer, nomad, bookworm, art lover, film enthusiast.

How long have you been a model?
Since I was 16. But I’m actually just starting to do a few things here and there again while being a full-time flight attendant.

How did you get into modeling?
I got scouted in a shopping mall when I was 14. Quite the cliché story. When I returned from Milan at 18 I decided to quit and start university. But somehow I’ve never been asked to model as much as in recent years, so here I am again.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
My first shooting was an awkward experience. I was nervous enough, but somehow my agency thought it was a good idea to bring a big TV team to film the whole experience. I didn’t find it hard to concentrate on what I was doing and had a lot of fun doing my thing. But afterwards, when it aired, I found out that they invented a few story lines such as my then boyfriend being opposed to me becoming a model. The poor guy got a hard time from his mates.

What does modeling mean to you?
I am a very creative person myself. My biggest passion is writing, I draw and I actually studied art history at university. Modeling is another creative outlet for me.

A model you particularly admire?
I’m not as in touch with the in folks in the industry as I used to be. I can only say that beauty alone is not sufficient for my admiration.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
Definitely some isolated place in nature. Since I love hiking, preferably a spot not easily accessible to everybody.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
The typical clean Scandinavian style. I think it suits me best. I like neutral colors, long lines and quality material. At the moment I’m in love with my Docs and high waisted Jeans.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Sweden is the place I feel most at home. So I would chose a small cabin in the archipelago of Stockholm - near enough to the city, far enough to escape everything.

What is happiness?
Happiness is a good book, a view making you feel in awe of the world, kindness and the right person to share happiness with.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
If I’m not working on a plane or arriving somewhere in the world, you can probably find me in an art gallery.

What’s your next goal?
A three week trip through Japan in March. After that, going backpacking, preferably on the west coast of Canada or the USA.
