How would you describe yourself in a few words?
In a few words, I would describe myself as loving, honest, sincere, grounded, conscious, and present.
How long have you been a model?
I have been modeling here and there since I was seven years old. I have modeled for small boutiques and for a few photographers for things like senior photography in the past. Most recently I did my first real photoshoot and started to take things seriously in the beginning of July this year.
How did you get into modelling?
I first got into modeling due to my mom. Most recently, I befriended a lovely woman named Elizabeth Bast who wrote the book called “Heart Medicine.” She is a stunning being who introduced me to an amazing photographer named Scott Burgess. He shoots very raw, beautiful, goddess-like photos. I did my first real photoshoot. My friend Lana then introduced me to Jova Films that I go to shoot with. After this, photographers were asking me to shoot quite often and it has been very healing and empowering journey for me.
How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
My first shooting in July was beautiful. I was going through some relationship struggles at the time so shooting with Scott was very healing for me. We went to a forest in Marin and once I got out in nature, something beautiful took over me and we made some very beautiful, raw, and artistic photos. I left feeling that I had just gotten finished with a healing session.
What does modelling mean to you?
Modeling to me mean empowerment. Every one can model. That is a huge piece of my goal; to show people how beautiful they are, how artful our bodies are and how we should carry no shame in showing them. Bodies are art, they are beautiful, and they should be shared in artful manner. Modeling to me does not mean making people think I am pretty.. I want to make people feel something when they look at my photos.
A model you particularly admire?
There is a few models that I particularly admire: Gigi Hadid, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Sofia Ja Mora, Lena Rodonjic, and Xenia Deli.
If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
If I could choose where I would like to shoot, it would probably be on the beaches of New Zealand or Barcelona.
What is your dressing style in everyday life?
My dressing style in everyday life is a huge variety of different things. I go Bohemian often, rock, classy/business, and many other things. I like to find amazing deals as well.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
If I could live anywhere, it would be California (where I am now,) New Zealand, or Canada.
What is happiness?
Happiness is something we can always obtain due to our minds being so powerful. Happiness is love. Happiness is being free. Happiness is doing what you love with no fear of rejection or discouragement.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
On a Friday night, you can find me at home watching Netflix, doing yoga, playing with my puppy, working on things for my job (recovery coach and lifestyle advisor), or leaving a photoshoot.
What’s your next goal?
My next goal is to empower other men and women to make them feel loved and valued. My goal is to show that bodies are art, not objects. My next goal is to continue being happy, conscious, and in love with life and this universe. I will continue to be the change day by day in hopes of inspiring others.
