In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
39, husband, father, social worker, fantasy, and sci-fi fan, I love to share my passion with other people who have the same interests, being creative together and be provocative sometimes.
How long have you been a photographer?
I photograph for 5 years.
How did you discover photography?
I was searching for a new creative hobby and with photography, i found the right mix between interacting with people with the same interests and a bit of nerd technical stuff. But the longer I photograph, the technical part got more and more unimportant. the connection and trust between the model and me become a bigger meaning
How was your first shooting? What did you shoot?
My first shooting was a portrait shoot with my wife. It was tremendous from today’s point of view. We both didn‘t know what we were doing but we had fun :)
How would you describe your style?
It’s very natural, less post-processing, mostly black&white. I try to catch the atmosphere and trigger the cinema in the viewer’s mind.
What does photography mean to you?
It means to spend my time with people with the same interests and forget everything around me and be in the moment. After a stressful day or week, I can recharge my batteries with positive power.
What inspires you?
Most of the time if find my inspirations in Conversations, books or social media like Tumblr or Instagram.
What would you like to photograph?
I‘m happy at the moment. I like to shoot a few models I shoot before and some I didn’t know personally. Spending my time with other creative people pushes me to reach a new level.
A photographer you particularly admire?
There’s a lot of photographers that I like and most of them I know in person. So It isn’t easy to pick one out. At the beginning, I admire the work of Andreas Puhl.
What is happiness?
Spending time with my family and also have time to photograph. There I can relax and calm down.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
No question, New York City, I have been there several times and the city catches me every time.
What’s your next goal?
Publish my Book „Travelog“ and organise my next exhibition from my last Projekt.
