In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am 28 years old photographer working between the Côte d’Azur and Paris.
I like doing photographic reports and being focused on the movement and the esthetic of an alone subject in order to offer the most original work.
How long have you been a photographer?
I have been doing photography for 3 years. I started the awakening project a year ago and I already did a book and an exhibition.
How did you discover photography?
My dad had a panoramic photo camera and was doing many pictures during our trips and I just wanted to do the same. Slowly photography became a true passion and I discovered many artists like Newton or Purienne.
How was your first shooting? What did you shoot?
On the awakening project, the first person I did photograph is Alix. It was not a proper shooting but just the beginning of my reflexion.
My feeling is that you are not able to know someone if you do not see its awakening which is a true and authentic moment.
Pictures were nice but not enough and I tried something different with Fanny and the project was born.
I continued with others girls and Prune is the last before the next one.
How would you describe your style?
I try to do something real and technic in creating a kind of mystery.
The most important to me is the composition of the picture and its framing.
What does photography mean to you?
It’s a way of expression.
There is People in life Who are actors and they express theirself. The photographer is a spectator with a particular point of view.
What inspires you?
Girls, Estheticism, Sincerity.
What would you like to photograph?
Politic, Concerts, Reports and Girls.
A photographer you particularly admire?
Helmut newton, Henrik Purienne, Leo Berne, Theo Gosselin, Léa Colombo and Sacha Sosno for his work : Obliteration. Hide to better show
What is happiness?
Carelessness.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Nice is my hometown and I love it but I have to concede that the culture is not a public priority. I heard that Bordeaux was great. Otherwise one of my biggest dreams is going to Norway.
What’s your next goal?
I am looking a new project. I do not know yet but I want something maybe more politic and to make people questioning.
