How would you describe yourself in a few words?
I would describe myself as creative, passionate and independent.
How long have you been a model?
I have been modeling for about a year.
How did you get into modelling?
In high school, my friends would use me as their model for class and I started getting inquiries from the photos. I did another shoot for a boutique and it just kind of took off from there.
How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I have always felt pretty comfortable in front of the camera since my dad constantly took photos of my siblings and I from young ages. I would model for friend’s portrait projects and I just eased my way into learning the craft. As a junior and senior I also took photography classes which helped me understand the way the photographer sees me through a lens.
What does modelling mean to you?
Modeling, just like anything else takes work and dedication- to me it is both a hobby and a job which I think makes it so attractive to anyone considering getting into it. It also has this amazing ability to connect you with people from around the world and send you to places you never thought you would find yourself in.
A model you particularly admire?
I really love Kylie Rae’s style and her combination of sweet and innocent with a badass, smoking hot vibe that you can’t take your eyes off of. She inspires me to be both!
If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
I have always wanted to go to Thailand and Bali and shoot, so I worked hard and saved up enough to do just that. This winter I will be traveling around Asia for a month!
What is your dressing style in everyday life?
I would say my style is sexy and classic. I love my high-waisted jeans and simple jewellery and I always look as leggy as possible by pairing them with heels.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I have actually done a great deal of traveling and with every trip I take I become more and more grateful to live right here in the Bay Area.
What is happiness?
I think happiness Is acceptance of who we are and what we have in life, the moment that is now.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
Honestly, It’s a toss up. Half of the time I’m out with friends having the time of our lives and half of the time I’m in my bed with tea and my guitar.
What’s your next goal?
My next goal Is to put out a long awaited EP and see what I can make of it!
