In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m a photographer based in Santander, (Spain), specializing in boudoir & art nudes. I embrace femininity, individuality and creativity. The fact that we live in an absurd and unfair world is what drives me and the creative process used to express individuality and artisanship is what keeps me going. Boudoir & art nudes photography is art, analogic is art, and in the end it all links together. My work so far does not include a visible message about feminism and sisterhood. However, this is certainly present in the way that I am making pictures. I make pictures for strong individual women. My ethos is about not being afraid of wearing something that can draw attention. To wear what you want and not follow the path that society is telling you to make. My model is a strong woman, who is here to take power and inspire other women to do the same. My pictures are bold and attention drawing with voluminous silhouettes and daring ideas. I always include strong bw. I embrace femininity, individuality and creativity.

How long have you been a photographer?
I have 26 years photography professional experience in various styles, have been working in many different countries with professional models.

How did you discover photography?
When I was 16, I bought a camera, and started to study photography.

How was your first shooting? What did you shoot?
I´m sorry, I can´t remember how was my first shooting, probably it was a disaster.

How would you describe your style?
I’m often asked by models to describe my style, and it’s a great question to ask. And Before I explain my style of shooting, I always think it’s important that we have a good discussion on what a photography style is.
My style is editorial and photojournalistic. With minimal staged images. My formats are more on the non-traditional side but the rest is very organic, natural and relaxed.

What does photography mean to you?
The first thing that made the picture all those years ago was giving me a hobby. Photography has given me something to do and learn in my free time during many years. It must add many thousands of hours of enjoyment. Twenty years later I am still learning.

What inspires you?
Now, we’re wondering about inspiration. Inspiration is that feeling that strikes you when you’re moved to action by something you’re passionate about. Inspiration is the driving force that can lead you to take a chance and do something great. Strong and sensual women inspire me day by day.

What would you like to photograph?
The answer is who would I like to shoot. Models like Pia-Marie Lahti, Kristina Jatiova, Romi Muse, Carla Monaco, Rosa Brighid, Agnieszka Ewa Nowak Edelmann, Sissy Fisher, Francesca Montrasio Matisse… to name some of my favourite models.

A photographer you particularly admire?
Well It’s hard to say. Only one? Vassilis Pitoulis.

What is happiness?
“Happiness” is not only hard to measure, but it is also difficult to singularly define. Happiness is a normal day in my life, doing shootings and finding new faces to shoot.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Reikiavik.

What’s your next goal?
My next goal is to find the best place for my new photo studio.
