In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m Andrew, 23 years old from Cologne, a very open minded, caring, honest and relaxed person, who loves to travel, meetup new people and enjoy his life as much as possible.
How long have you been a photographer?
Since 2 ½ years. I started early 2014.
How did you discover photography?
My dad bought my first camera for my education. At this point i discovered and learned more about photography. Thanks Dad!
How was your first shooting?
Exciting and cold. I actually wasn’t sure what i am doing and we had the coldest day of the year. Pretty bad timing.
What did you shoot?
I shot friends of myself. 2 blonde girls in a snow landscape.
How would you describe your style?
Natural, sensual, casual & honest. A warm and vibrant atmosphere with focus on the special characteristics of people.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography means a lot to me. I can express my feelings with photography. I can live creatively, free. I’ve met a lot of incredibly cool people, saw a lot of places and can build new stories where every picture tells a piece of it.
What inspires you?
Music inspires me. I love “Prinz Pi”. He opens my soul and shows me some views that I can use in my pictures.
What would you like to photograph?
There are few models i’d like to photograph in my lifetime. For example Rahel Chiwitt. But above all, there is a model, which inspired me for years and I’m dreaming of the day, where I take photos of her. She’s called Swantje Paulina.
A photographer you particularly admire?
Paul Ripke & Andre Josselin. Both have never given up and remained true to himself. I appreciate that very much.
What is happiness?
Drinking a beer with my friends while feeling confident and being peaceful with myself
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Norway! I love the country, the people, the nature. Specifically the Kjeragbolten. It’s my personal symbol of freedom and enjoying your life.
What’s your next goal?
Having a good time with my roommate, be happy and confident with myself and maybe take an awesome series of Rahel or Swantje!
