In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am 23 years old and I am about to graduate college with my Bachelors degree. I love to travel all over the US and hopefully someday out of the country! A few of my hobbies consist of photography (of course), hiking, archery, and movie watching!
How long have you been a photographer?
I have been a photographer for about 5 years.
How did you discover photography?
I always loved taking photos, but what really got me into the art was when I worked at Cady Studios for the summer and they taught me how to actually take a good portrait!
How was your first shooting? What did you shoot?
My first photo shoot was with my friend Savannah. I started off with my very first point and shoot camera and let me tell you, we had such a blast! When shot in two of her best looks, a cute country outfit and then a converse and casual.
How would you describe your style?
My style can go different ways; I switch between jeans and a cute top, yoga pants and a tank, to the occasional dress and booties/wedges.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography to me means that you are creating a vision, a vision that only you can see and describe. Photography to me is not just pictures, but art in every form. When you take a photo and share it with the world, that photo is a piece of you, your creativity.
What inspires you?
When I look at all the amazing artist out there that create beautiful images, it just motivates me to keep photographing. Keep creating and my photo might just inspire another photographer.
What would you like to photograph?
I always enjoy photographing models but my heart and soul is in landscapes. I just recently started a few years ago and I can’t get enough of it.
A photographer you particularly admire?
There is a local photographer in Orlando, FL who I have admired for years! In case you don’t know her, her name is Shannon Lee Miller. She doesn’t know who I am but, hey that’s alright! J
What is happiness?
I believe that happiness is all about mindset and attitude. I am happiest when I am surrounded with my friends and family because I know that I am so lucky to have them.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I would live anywhere I could see the Aurora Lights every night!
What’s your next goal?
My next goal in life is to visit another country. By the looks of it, it may be in November to Iceland! Fingers crossed!
