How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Quiet, unusual, thoughtful, kind.
How long have you been a model?
2 years.
How did you get into modelling?
A friend told me about the website model mayhem, so I made an account and here I am! (I’m still a nobody).
How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
It was so fun! I felt very relaxed with the photographer and we got tons of great photos. He was patient with me and gave me many helpful tips.
What does modelling mean to you?
It’s a way of expressing emotion physically, whether that be desire, contentment, sadness, etc. I try to tell a story to the viewer through my body language.
A model you particularly admire?
Nikki Murciano. I don’t know anything about her as a person but physically I think she’s the most perfect woman in the universe.
If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
I’d like to shoot in the rain on a west coast beach one day. The photos from that shoot would convey sadness - an emotion I know well.
What is your dressing style in everyday life?
Leggings, running shoes, boyfriend’s old bike jersey. I’m a walking thrift store. But one day I want to go totally goth.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
In a desert somewhere. I love desert sunsets and dry, hot places in general.
What is happiness?
Lying down in a big field of grass and miniature daisies at a park with my love on a quiet, sunny afternoon.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
Stuffing my face at my favorite sushi restaurant, Momiji!!
What’s your next goal?
I want to learn guitar so I can play the guitar solo at the end of David Bowie’s “Loving the Alien”.
Oh, and I want to go to veterinary school so I can save animal’s lives, of course.
