How would you describe yourself in a few words?
If I had to describe myself in a few words I’d say extremely hard working, passionate, and spontaneous.

How long have you been a model?
I have been modeling for 7 years.

How did you get into modelling?
I grew up in upstate NY, so I weirdly started modeling there. I have to give all credit to a woman named Laura Marino, who took me under her wing and decided to put me in front of the camera for my first shoot. Seeing as how there is little to no industry in upstate I got lucky with her because she essentially built my portfolio. It’s a good thing she was the best photographer in the city. I still love some of our very quirky shoots.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
So my first shoot was interesting. I was shooting in a field with a dress on and it was a bit torturous getting poked by all of the bushes with thorns, and then I got back into the car and felt something moving under my dress. It was a grasshopper the size of a mammoth. I may have almost jumped out of a moving car. Haha

What does modelling mean to you?
Modeling to me is a way to be creative and express emotions that I may have to hold in. At times my life is a direct reflection of Murphy’s Law. So being in a big city essentially by yourself is challenging. But we have to stay strong. So this is therapeutic in a way.

A model you particularly admire?
I’m a little embarrassed to say I don’t know many models. But I would have to say Brigitte Bardot.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
If I could shoot anywhere in the world I would have to say Italy. Not only because I’m Italian but because there is such a beauty to the entire culture. The language, the food, the landscape. Everything.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
I dress very very simple/casual. I’m a chucks girl. So I would say a little tomboyish on the daily, and simple classic when I need to dress up. Less is always more.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
If I could live anywhere in the world I would like to try out London. I love Los Angeles, and it just so happens my career is here so it works out but I’ve never left the country so London sort of calls to me.

What is happiness?
Happiness to me is living the life I never had. I wake up every day grateful. I have a roof over my head, a beautiful dog that has been with me through the roughest times, and I have a steady income which doesn’t always happen in this industry. The happiest day of my life would be being able to put my parents in their dream retirement home settled down and happy. It’s been a long haul for my mother who has battled Lupus since I was about 4.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
As I mentioned before I do work very hard. I would say there’s not enough time in the day however my favorite quote “We have exactly the same number of hours in a day as Helen Keller, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Albert Einstein.” So a friday night is typically spent at home working or shooting.

What’s your next goal?
One thing I haven’t mentioned is I am actually mainly an actor. Modeling has gone at a faster pace success wise, however, my next and main goal is to become a full time actor. It takes a very long time to make a name for yourself in that world so I’ve had some success in the indie world and still growing patiently.
