How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Creative, nerdy, unpredictable.

How long have you been a model?
Almost 10 years, off and on.

How did you get into modelling?
I was just curious and signed up for a modeling and photography networking website. It turned out to be a great tool for connecting with local photographers.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I was nervous…I remember wondering if the photographer would be disappointed upon seeing me in person. That they would think I was too short, too curvy, not model-esque enough. Ten years later and no one has been disappointed yet. I’m much more confident now, and I think it translates into better photos.

What does modelling mean to you?
I have always admired fashion photography and illustration, and I enjoy the opportunity to create new and interesting images through photography.

A model you particularly admire?
Natalia Vodianova. That face…it enchanted me from the very first issue of Vogue I ever flipped through. I also love Amy Hood’s sexy retro imagery.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
An island. Somewhere exotic…I want to be Brooke Shields in Blue Lagoon.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
I love to imagine myself a modern fantasy character. I love to wear things that are romantic, or have just a touch of sci-fi edge. I like to wear clothing that would be difficult to place in a specific time or place. Of course, you could often find me in a white tshirt and jeans as well. But that is also timeless, I suppose.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Maybe Scandinavia…

What is happiness?
Friends, fulfilling work, and love.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
In my tiny studio apartment, watching a movie while drawing in my sketchbook. Probably drinking whiskey.

What’s your next goal?
To try and live in the moment.
