How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Open-minded, authentic, direct, curious

How long have you been a model?
I started when I was 15, but I had to interrupt because of school and studies. (Not that I „had to“, actually, but I chose to do so.) So this year it would be 10 years, even if I never did it full time, I always gained some experiences.

How did you get into modelling?
When I was 14, a booker of an agency in Hamburg stopped me when I was shopping with my mum. I just still had braces, so she wanted me to get in touch later again. When I was 15, I went to Milan to the hairdresser. He was basically the one telling my mum that he thinks I could do modeling. A friend of his was an owner of an agency, who later became my agent, so that‘s how my modeling experience in Milan started.
But also today, I still get stopped in the street and asked if I want to model.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I had many test shootings, in Hamburg and in Milan, and in the beginning I remember that I was incredibly shy and insecure. But the stylist and the whole team was nice and everyone tried to make me feel comfortable, so I only have good memories which I am really thankful for.

What does modelling mean to you?
It does mean a lot to me, for many reasons.
Traveling and meeting different people from different countries is a gift. (I would never have been to Tokyo when I was 16, for example, or wouldn‘t have had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas for a job.)
It somehow makes me feel comfortable with my body, it makes me discover more of myself - and it makes me understand that there is so much more in this world than fashion. More important things, I mean. Maybe it‘s something you can only understand fully when you are part of the fashion industry. Anyways, I am thankful for all the experience I can make.

A model you particularly admire?
Victoire Dauxerre

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
Cape Town, Paris. And I will never ever get tired of shooting in Milan!

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
All kinds of black ;-) no, I’m kidding. I do wear a lot of black, because it’s classy and timeless, and always fits to everything. In summer I prefer colors, though :-) My dressing style? Well, it‘s just my own style, I never thought about calling it somehow or pigeonhole it, to be honest.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Honestly - I am still restless. I want to see so many cities, but not as a tourist. I would love to live in Paris for a while, and in the States. Since my roots are from Serbia, I really want to go there for some time as well.
But because I was born and grew up in Hamburg, and my family lives there, I guess this will be the place where I will return to and make my own family grow up.

What is happiness?
Feeling good with yourself. Also when you are only by yourself! Finding something that fulfills you, doing something you love doing.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
Depends on the city, depends on my mood.
In Munich I could be in some bar for a drink, in Milan I am probably going out with friends.
In Hamburg I could also stay home with my sister. You can find me there where I find myself the most in that moment :-)
