In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m 22yrs old from Brisbane, Australia.

How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been shooting since I was young but never really thought I would fully get into photography. I then decided to pursue it when I finished high school and from there my career kinda took off.

How did you discover photography?
In year seven my friends mother did a really awesome photoshoot with the girls in my year. When I saw the photos I really liked how she took them and her editing style. From there I tried to create the same concept but I was really crappy at it but I kept at it and several years later finally found what I liked.

How was your first shooting? What did you shoot?
It was horrible! I made my little cousins be my model and dressed them up with an emo/punk vibe. It was actually hilarious looking back at it now… I was 13 at the time…

How would you describe your style?
More simple and chilled. Really not much to it. I like to just shoot with the model and have fun rather than stressing about the end result. It’s cool just to hang out and go with the flow and do whatever feels right.

What does photography mean to you?
To me it’s really just to have fun. There are so many people out that that go really deep into it and their images turns out really great (especially photo journalist I reckon). But with me I like to stay in control with lighting, poses and mood.

What inspires you?
Honestly just having fun hey. By going with the flow and shooting whatever the model feels right at the time really works for me. There’s nothing worst to me than when I get the model to do something and they try to do it and it just becomes awkward and looks so funny :P

What would you like to photograph?
I like photographing chilled vibes. Kinda like the “girl next door” style. It’s so chilled and doesn’t feel like we’re actually working.

A photographer you particularly admire?
@mariotestino is the BOMB! Also @stevenkleinstudio, @mertalas (#mertandmarcus) studio work is amazing!

What is happiness?
Doing what you love.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Home. I like to travel, but at the end I always want to be home.

What’s your next goal?
Not to sure really. Doing major campaigns I reckon but I like to just go with the flow.
