In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m 25 and living in Katowice, Poland. I like Tom Waits, girls, taking photos, making artistic installation (in random order).
How long have you been a photographer?
Since high school.
How did you discover photography?
I’ve always had analogue camera at home and I was shooting some random stuff on holiday etc, but I’ve really started shooting in my high school (with art profile) while working on some photographic projects.
How was your first shooting? What did you shoot?
I did my first nude shoot in high school, with a friend who exercise a lot. I took a lot of very similar ‘abstract’ photos of her body parts. Nothing fresh or original. Fortunately I realized that I’ve taken some natural looking portraits when she wasn’t aware of me looking at her. Only that two images were decent from the whole shoot. At that time I was also working on some 'ascetic’ studio nude forms, but I really quickly got bored and I realized that I was more into taking natural photos of models during their breaks.
How would you describe your style?
I mostly aim for natural beauty of models. I really care about the specific, sleepy mood. In fact I’m usually creating whole situation and girls are aware of me shooting them. So I might say it’s half creation, half documentary.
What does photography mean to you?
I love photography because it really captures reality. I mean, you are not drawing something made up in your head with pencil but you really have to create scene with model in real life in front of camera.
What inspires you?
Oh, I really hate this question. In general, what I see before and during photoshoots inspire me. Sometimes I see some situations in real life and I want to recreate it on photos.
What would you like to photograph?
The question should be 'Who would you like to photograph’. I have a few friends who I’d love to shoot but they don’t want to (yet).
A photographer you particularly admire?
There are tons of them, I follow a lot of people on tumblr and instagram. But if I have to choose one (in this moment), now I would choose Henrik Purienne. I love colors and mood of his work.
What is happiness?
Baby don’t hurt me,don’t hurt me, no more. Oh no that’s about love… I hate this kind of questions too. Yeah, I suppose happiness is when the only thing you have to be worry about is enough time for all the models you’re about to shoot, or something like that.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Honestly I don’t know yet.
What’s your next goal?
To convince some girls I was talking about earlier. Also I am putting together large amount of photos into some new series but I don’t want to reveal it yet.
