How would you describe yourself in a few words?
In a few words, I would describe myself weird, awkward, compassionate and honest.
How long have you been a model?
I have been modelling for years now and I am absolutely in love with it still. It’s my dream career.
How did you get into modelling?
Modelling was always something I had wanted to do and one day I was approached by scout to enter a model search and it went from there. Not long after I was signed to my first international agency in Milano.
How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
On my first shoot, I remember being very nervous when I arrived but when it came time to be in front of the camera I felt at ease and posing came natural to me. I remember leaving the shoot on a high and feeling so excited to see the final images.
What does modelling mean to you?
Modelling to me is a job that has given me so many incredible experiences and allowed me to travel the world and do a lot of things I may never have had the chance to otherwise. I have friends all over the place and I have been plonked in cities where English isn’t the first language and I have had to adjust and work out how to get around fast. Modelling has given me the travel bug for sure, before modelling I had not even left the country.
A model you particularly admire?
I admire anyone who has the courage to stand up against injustice. So a former model and animal rights activist I admire for doing that is Bridget Bardot. She has spoken up about how cruel and unnecessary the fur industry is. I too refuse to wear fur whether it be in my personal life or on a shoot.
If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
If I could choose a shoot location anywhere in the world… I’d pick Santorini! It looks so dreamy.
What is your dressing style in everyday life?
It’s like my style has a split personality. 50% of the time I dress like a tomboy and wear men’s oversized t-shirts jeans and sneakers and then the other 50% I like to wear flowers in my hair and pretty bohemian dresses.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I love living in Australia. I think it’s a beautiful country and I am lucky to call it home.
What is happiness?
Happiness to me is getting to hang out with my pet pig and pet goats, playing pranks, eating delicious vegetarian food and falling asleep next to my boyfriend Harry.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
On a Friday night you can find me on the sofa watching documentaries on Netflix.
What’s your next goal?
I have a lot of goals but my every day goal is to bring kindness and compassion into my life and the lives of those around me.
