How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Adventurous, peaceful and a dreamer.

How long have you been a model?
I’ve been modelling professionally for six years. Half of the time was spent internationally.

How did you get into modelling?
When I was 15, I did an etiquette course and at the graduation, we had to do a catwalk. A modelling scout was sitting in the audience and recruited me on the spot. To this day he remains my Australian agent.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
My first photoshoot was for an online fashion magazine shot in sand dunes in Sydney’s Central Coast. We were shooting a summer collection in the middle of winter so it was windy and cold. I left the job with wind-burnt skin, knotty hair, sand in my clothes, and a desire to shoot again.

What does modelling mean to you?
Modelling is an opportunity to take on a role I normally wouldn’t play. It’s a chance to be glamourous, sexy, powerful or badass. Modelling means taking a risk, going on an adventure, putting on a brave face, and embracing every opportunity I can.

A model you particularly admire?
Giselle Bundchen. She worked extremely hard to get where she is. She faced a lot of rejection and criticism; yet with determination and a good mindset, she became one of the most successful supermodels of all time. Giselle also uses her model status to raise awareness about large-scale world issues and volunteers in many fundraising events. Giselle is an iconic model and role model.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
I would love to shoot high fashion gowns in Kiruna, Sweden during winter. I know that temperatures can drop below minus 40 degrees celsius, but I am obsessed with the purity of the snow and the stunning colours in the sky. Kiruna has a magical atmosphere and to glorify that on camera would be unforgettable.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
I have an eclectic style. I dress to how I feel, rather than following trends. Ripped jeans, denim shorts, baggy shirts and a leather jacket are my staples, but I’m not scared of a tight red dress either. I’m always up for variation.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
I’m obsessed with nature so anywhere that has a beautiful natural landscape I’ll happily call home.

What is happiness?
Happiness is seeing light within darkness, and capturing this glow in your soul.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
Most likely out for dinner and then back at mine for wine and a movie. Friday nights are usually for resting. The weekend is when my wild side comes out to play.

What’s your next goal?
I wish to use my Journalism degree to travel and report on food and culture. I’m always up for an adventure so my goal is to keep on modelling, exploring and tasting the world.
