How would you describe yourself in a few words?
Adventurer, nomad, bookworm, art lover, film enthusiast.
How long have you been a model?
Since I was 16. But I’m actually just starting to do a few things here and there again while being a full-time flight attendant.
How did you get into modeling?
I got scouted in a shopping mall when I was 14. Quite the cliché story. When I returned from Milan at 18 I decided to quit and start university. But somehow I’ve never been asked to model as much as in recent years, so here I am again.
How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
My first shooting was an awkward experience. I was nervous enough, but somehow my agency thought it was a good idea to bring a big TV team to film the whole experience. I didn’t find it hard to concentrate on what I was doing and had a lot of fun doing my thing. But afterwards, when it aired, I found out that they invented a few story lines such as my then boyfriend being opposed to me becoming a model. The poor guy got a hard time from his mates.
What does modeling mean to you?
I am a very creative person myself. My biggest passion is writing, I draw and I actually studied art history at university. Modeling is another creative outlet for me.
A model you particularly admire?
I’m not as in touch with the in folks in the industry as I used to be. I can only say that beauty alone is not sufficient for my admiration.
If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
Definitely some isolated place in nature. Since I love hiking, preferably a spot not easily accessible to everybody.
What is your dressing style in everyday life?
The typical clean Scandinavian style. I think it suits me best. I like neutral colors, long lines and quality material. At the moment I’m in love with my Docs and high waisted Jeans.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Sweden is the place I feel most at home. So I would chose a small cabin in the archipelago of Stockholm - near enough to the city, far enough to escape everything.
What is happiness?
Happiness is a good book, a view making you feel in awe of the world, kindness and the right person to share happiness with.
Where can we find you on a Friday night?
If I’m not working on a plane or arriving somewhere in the world, you can probably find me in an art gallery.
What’s your next goal?
A three week trip through Japan in March. After that, going backpacking, preferably on the west coast of Canada or the USA.
