In a few words, tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hello everybody. My name is Linas Vaitonis. I’m an ecologist, publisher and photographer, so I guess I’m always trying to make myself busy. The things I like: friends, football, chess, cinema, travelling.

How long have you been a photographer?
I could say 5 years or so. I’m self taught and it always was a side thing. I’m still working as an ecologist right now but I’m trying to be involved in photography more and more.

How did you discover photography?
When I was 20, I took my mother’s Nikon and started to shoot. That’s really all there was to it.

How was your first shooting? What did you shoot?
I can’t recall the first shooting I snapped but I’m certain it wasn’t any good.

How would you describe your style?
It’s just my take on the world, my life happening around me. I think I could describe my work as retro avant-garde.

What does photography mean to you?
It’s a medium to code my own concept of the world and to turn this concept into images.

What inspires you?
I find inspiration from a variety of sources. Laughter turns me on. Speaking about photographers, Ryan McGinley was my first inspiration. Today there are too many to mention.

What would you like to photograph?
Millions of things, places and people. Bill Murray for example.

A photographer you particularly admire?
The same fellow american I’ve mentioned before. I think he is one of those photographers that has reinvented photography.

What is happiness?
I don’t know. It would be strange if you could have some sort of objective opinion about happiness. I am always very suspicious of people who can do that.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Tokyo, Japan. But you know, it might turn out later that Tokyo isn’t that cool so I’d just move to some other place.

What’s your next goal?
I’d like to publish a book and to work abroad. To exhibit on the moon would also be great!

Know more about Roberta at instagram.com/robertabeckham

How would you describe yourself in a few words?
I am a passionate and creative girl, in love with life.
I travelled a lot and had the chance to live in several beautiful countries such as the Bahamas, French Polynesia, Switzerland, Italy and sailed across Latin America and the Mediterranean Sea for a year.
I cannot live without my passions: photography, fashion, travels, dance and music. They are the source of my everyday energy.
I am definitely a lucky girl as I always had the chance to do what I love for a living.

How long have you been a model?
I have always worked in the artistic field as a dancer and choreographer but I started modeling as a professional just at the beginning of 2016, by chance.
As I came back to Milan, my hometown a talent scout noticed me.
I was offered a job as a mannequin for a very well known brand in via Montenapoleone area, the main fashion district in Milan.
It all started from here and now I have the chance work with amazing professionals as a full time model also for photo shootings, fashion shows and adverts.

How did you get into modelling?
I’ve always loved taking pictures of myself during my travels. I used to post them on Instagram and social medias.
That’s how I’ve been discovered by the fashion industry.

How was your first shooting? Tell us a bit about that first experience.
I was so nervous and clumsy!!!
It was a studio shooting with Tiziano, a talented photographer who is now also a very good friend of mine.
He introduced me to the world of photography.
Looking back at those pictures I can clearly see the progresses I made through the time, little by little, getting to know my body and facial expressions better and better… and this gives me the strength to go on further.

What does modelling mean to you?
Modelling is the way I can express myself. My inner feelings and vibes all come out freely during photo sessions. I always try to put my ideas and creativity in every shot, I love to collaborate with photographs in the conception of the shooting.
Pictures are pieces of me, they reflect the different aspects of my personality. That’s why I definitely love being a model.

A model you particularly admire?
The magnificent Kate Moss. She’s above perfection. No other words to add.

If you could choose, where would you like to shoot?
NYC. It has a vibrant never-ending energy that inspires me a lot.
I love big cities and urban photography.

What is your dressing style in everyday life?
I love experimenting different kind of dressing styles, from the urban ghetto girl to the sophisticated lady. It goes together with my mood and thoughts… so it changes everyday! I think Fashion is very personal and even if it goes with the trends I always love to put my personal touch and experience to what I’m wearing… and living in Milan is so inspiring for that.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Bora Bora, French Polynesia: I lived there for 4 years and my heart and soul still stay there… now I feel home in Milan and I do not want to move from here. In this specific time of my life I’m in love with this kinda frenetic life.
But I will go back to paradise one day, for sure.

What is happiness?
Happiness is being happy with the person you see everyday in the mirror, who you are, love yourself and have passions that help you overcome all fears and bad times.
I am the source of my happiness. If I don’t love who I am or what I do I will never be happy in my life: It took me a long time to understand that but now I can say that am proud of who I am today.

Where can we find you on a Friday night?
In a Sushi bar or partying and dancing in a Club with my girls.
I love the nightlife, I am a party girl!

What’s your next goal?
Being happy.
